View this Videotribute MRS. ALINE MORGAN DAVIS CHAPEL HILL: Mrs. Aline Morgan Davis, 87, resident of Chapel Hill, died Sunday, June 15, 2008. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Lee Davis Vickers and a brother, James P. Morgan. Surviving are her husband for 67 years, Claiborne Lee Davis; a daughter, Donna Ruth Davis Carpenter of Charlotte; two sons, Bruce Morgan Davis and wife, Harriet of Durham and Robert C. Davis and wife, Ruth of King, NC; two brothers, Woodrow W. Morgan and Robert O. Morgan, Jr.; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 2 PM at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Weatherly and Rev. Robert C. Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7-9 PM at Clements Funeral Home in Durham and other times at Bruce’s home, 215 Bacon Rd. Rougemont, NC 27572.
