View this Videotribute PAT HURSEY BARNES Mrs. Pat H. Barnes, 60, a resident of 3433 N. Roxboro Rd., died Saturday at her home. Mrs. Barnes was a lifelong resident of Durham. She was a School Bus Driver for Durham Public Schools. Surviving are her mother, Betty Van Pearson Perry and her father, James Bright Hursey; a daughter, Tonya Hicks Parker and husband Noel of Virginia Beach, VA; two sons, Steve Hicks and wife Beverly of Holly Springs and Mickey Hicks of Stem; two sisters, Barbara Couch of Durham and Teresa Bowen of Bahama; a brother, Michael Hursey of Morehead City; a special cousin, Gail Hursey of Durham and eight grandchildren, Lauren, Taylor and Nicholas Parker, Logan, Bryan and Dalton Hicks and Cody and Jesse Hicks. A Funeral Service will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Clements Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Eddie Dollar. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Clements Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Special Thanks to the staff of Durham Region Oncology, Regional Cancer Care, Heartland Hospice.
