View this Videotribute Rev. Clell E. Gibson Rev. Clell E. Gibson, 83, a resident of 721 Jonquil St., died Sunday morning at Durham Regional Hospital. Rev. Gibson was born in Sevierville, TN, son of the late Berta G. Gibson and the late Andrew Gibson. He was a graduate of the Southeastern Theological Seminary. Rev. Gibson served at the pastor of several churches including Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and Braggtown Baptist Church, both in Durham. He was a member of Grey Stone Baptist Church. A Funeral Service will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Clements Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Clay Waters. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Clements Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Surviving are three daughters, Doris G. Watkins and husband John of Atlanta, GA, Janice G. Hensley and husband Bill of Mebane and Donna G. Worrell and husband Robert of Durham; one brother, James Paul Gibson of Sevierville, TN; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
